Government procurement and supply contracting
AXA South responds to federal, state, and local purchase requests by sourcing the products, materials, and equipment agencies need to run their programs, with same-week turnaround on micropurchases and a clear quote process on larger buys.
No special license required. AXA South bids and holds prime government contracts as an authorized contracting party. No special license is required to bid or hold the prime relationship in the categories we pursue. Any work that requires a state-issued trade, professional, or specialty license is performed by subcontractors who hold those licenses in the project jurisdiction.
AXA South is a contracting and program-management firm, not a licensed trade.
The work, in plain terms.
- 01
Open-market and contract-vehicle sourcing
We quote against RFQs and solicitations posted on SAM.gov, eBuy, state procurement portals, and direct agency requests. When a vehicle (GSA Schedule, IDIQ, BPA) is the right path, we source through it. When it is not, we quote open-market.
- 02
Stocked, drop-ship, and configured product
From COTS items to configured equipment, we work with manufacturer-authorized distributors so warranty, serial tracking, and origin documentation stay clean. UPC, NSN, and part-number sourcing as required.
- 03
TAA and Buy American compliance review
We screen part-by-part for Trade Agreements Act and Buy American Act compliance before submitting, and flag where a substitution is needed. No surprises at delivery.
- 04
Delivery, packaging, and marking
Military-standard packaging, palletization, and shipment marking as specified on the PO. Inside delivery and white-glove available on request for sensitive equipment.
Federal, state, and local buyers.
Civilian agencies, DoD components, and the VA across the Southeast and OCONUS. We respond to micropurchase card buys, simplified acquisitions, and quote against IDIQ task orders.
Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, and Florida state agencies. Registered or able to register on the state procurement portals required for each.
County, parish, and municipal buyers, plus school districts and special districts. We work the same way at the local level we do at federal: fast quotes, clean paperwork, on-time delivery.
What buyers actually ask.
Do I need a sole-source justification to buy from AXA South?
+
No. Most of our buyers compete the requirement through their normal RFQ or solicitation process and we respond like any other vendor. For micropurchase-card buys under the simplified acquisition threshold, you can simply request a quote and place an order if our price is fair and reasonable.
Can you source brand-name items, or only generics?
+
Both. When the requirement is brand-name justified, we source through manufacturer-authorized distributors. When the requirement is performance-based, we will quote a brand and an equal alternate so the buyer can choose.
How fast can you turn around a quote?
+
Same-day for in-stock items, one to two business days for configured product or items that require a distributor confirmation. RFQs with a short fuse get prioritized.
Are your prices TAA and Buy American compliant?
+
We screen for both before submitting. If a requested part is non-compliant, we flag it and propose a compliant alternate rather than quote something that will fail at receipt.
Do you ship OCONUS?
+
Yes. We handle export documentation, hazmat classification where applicable, and overseas freight forwarding for agency destinations outside the continental United States.
